The final stage of the Tour de France: the Champs Élysées!

“Look! There they are! There they are!” The Tour de France 2019 will be holding its final stage on the Champs Élysées, on Sunday, 28 July, after 3,460 kilometres covered by our 180 racers. The Tour de France was launched in 1903, at the impetus of a press organ specializing in the cycling industry, the newspaper L’Auto. The yellow colour of its pages were the source of the yellow jersey, created in 1919. The Tour de France is the largest cycling competition in the world and one of the most watched around the globe. With its 21 stages, the contest takes place over the course of three weeks. Since 1975, the race has ended on the prestigious Avenue des Champs Élysées, with a flyover by the Patrouille de France. The team at our hotel, located just a short walk from the famous boulevard, will be delighted to host you for this eagerly-awaited event.
